Stayed here for two nights in November. This is a truly fantastic place to stay, the accommodation was beautiful and the food wonderful. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm and the staff genuinely friendly.
The staff went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable. We arrived early in the morning after an all night flight. They promptly greeted us with tea/coffee and muffins while they diverted staff to make our rooms ready well before the normal check in time. That level of service continued throughout our stay, And the food was wonderful. We had booked dinner for the first night, and eating the last morsel booked for the following night as well. No negatives.
From the moment we arrived, right throughout our stay we were looked after by the most amazing and attentive staff. A very special shout out to John Edward who in particular couldn't have done more for us. We especially loved our pre & post dinner drink chats in front of the fire over a lovely Kalak vodka! The food was amazing and we still rave about it. My daughter who is a vegetarian and can be quite fussy when it comes to dining out cannot wait to go back! We are already planning our next trip!
We had a wonderful stay and dinner at the Mustard Seed. John Edwards, the Manager, is just fabulous, from the welcome, to advice on what to do and nothing is too much trouble. The Exquisite Suites were fabulous, the grounds are beautiful and it is well located about and hour south of Shannon airport where my Husband and I were collecting family to share the weekend at the Mustard Seed. The breakfasts were excellent, including a wonderful whiskey cream porridge which my husband had to have each morning and the dinner was sumptuous. I cannot recommend The Mustard Seed more highly, a really memorable stay that sent us away very happy.
A lovely experience. Service was great, the food was fabulous. Hope to return for another visit !
